OASIS presented a Halloween Candy Safety Workshop to fifth-grade students at Roosevelt Elementary School.

OASIS members visited fifth-grade classrooms to teach students how to enjoy Halloween safely. Through a hands-on candy-sorting activity and with a spooky presentation, kids learned to spot the signs of “tricked” candy — odd smells, open packaging, unusual shapes, and misspelled labels. The workshop was a hit, keeping students engaged, informed, and excited to stay safe.
