OASIS partnered with the nonprofit BetterAngels at their Encino location to distribute care packages for unhoused individuals, supplying essentials like toiletries, warm socks, and snacks, while OASIS volunteers also helped prepare and serve meals. Through these combined efforts, handing out packages, serving food, and offering friendly, respectful interaction, OASIS sought to meet immediate needs and brighten people’s days while strengthening community ties and providing support for vulnerable neighbors.
